The first restaurant lobby remained open during the four years of construction adding a new dining area in the original ground level theater setting with a new cocktail lounge and dining area called the “garden room.” The last of the construction was the building of the new ballroom which had a separate entrance depicting the same elegance of spiral staircases and crystal chandeliers throughout the first spiral to the sky room which adjoined the new theater and new ballroom.

A dramatic, plush, thick, red-carpeted spiral staircase lead to the second-floor lobby of the new Drury Lane structure along with a new Star apartment and adjoining new DeSantis apartment.
